Demo Post with Image

This is an example post to demonstrate how to include an image in the post preview on the blog index page. I selected an image of a damselfly on a blooming rose. I took this photo in Des Moines, Washington, in early June 2025.

There isn’t much more to say about this post. It’s primarily intended to show how the image appears in the post listing on the blog index page. The image should be displayed as a thumbnail above the excerpt of the post. Thanks for checking it out!
